So, you’ve found yourself on my blog and you’re probably wondering, what makes this blog special from all the other lifestyle blogs? Well, not a lot I suppose. I’m not a personal trainer or a nutritionist, I’m just an average girl on a mission. I’m hoping to make my life happier and healthier through making better choices.

I bet you’re still thinking, who is Danielle and what’s made her decide to put her lifestyle adventures on a blog? Well, I’m in my 20’s and I live in the city. I came from the countryside and during my youth I was beyond active! I used to climb trees (although that usually went horribly wrong as I’m scared of heights!), play tag and roam around on my bicycle. But since moving to the city for uni, I’ve become a bit more lethargic. I think it was that glorious right of passage moment when you realise, ‘my mum can’t monitor how many bourbon biscuits I’m eating’ and then 3 years later you realise there was a very good reason your mum put a lock on the biscuit jar. So, I’m now 5 years into my city living, I have a desk job like many, and I’m at a point in life where I need to give myself a kick to get myself back on the healthy path.

This year is the year. I’ve signed myself up for a half marathon and I’m going to nail it! This little blog is going to become my online home and a massive source of personal inspiration. I can’t wait to learn running techniques, which sportswear lines really do perform under pressure and how to make tasty, but healthy treats.
